MontanaBefore going to the 63 Ranch, just outside of Livingston, Montana (where they filmed A River Runs Through It), we visited the Little Bighorn Battlefield and the Custer National Cemetery. We entered Wyoming, crossed the beautiful Bighorn mountains, saw moose and a beaver dam. We enjoyed the Buffalo Bill Historical Center and a very windy rodeo in Cody, Wyoming. We spent a day in Yellowstone National Park where we saw nature at its finest: from bison, black bears and elk to hot springs, waterfalls, and obsidian cliffs. Only then were we ready for our wonderful week at the Ranch, where we met new friends, rode our horses twice a day (and learned to trust them implicitly) and tried fly fishing in the nearby streams.
